HOW OUR MOBILE VISITS WORK
Appointment requests can be made by phone, email, or through our online contact form. As we are often caring for patients during clinic hours, we may be unable to answer your call immediately. Please leave a voicemail, and a member of our team will return your call as soon as possible to discuss your pet’s needs and arrange an appointment.
For new wellness clients, we will request your pet’s medical records from their previous veterinary clinic so we can review their history ahead of your visit. This allows us to provide personalised recommendations and determine the most appropriate preventative care and treatment plan for your pet.
A $50 scheduling fee is required to reserve your appointment and must be paid by the close of business on the day of booking. Payment can be made securely over the phone or through a secure online payment link sent to you via text message and email.
Please note that we maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made by calling (936) 391-8343.
Our appointments are scheduled within an arrival time window rather than a specific appointment time, as travel routes, traffic, and patient needs can affect timing throughout the day. The day before your scheduled appointment you will receive a text message with a 2 hour estimated arrival window. On the day of your visit, we will call when we are on the way and provide an estimated time of arrival based on GPS. We kindly ask that your pet is secured approximately 5–10 minutes before our arrival.
For cats, we recommend they are confined to a small, quiet area where they cannot hide under or behind furniture — such as a bathroom, laundry room, or similar space, ideally with limited exit points from the main household. Typically we will go into the room with them for their appointment – rather than have you bring them out to reduce the risk of them fleeing.
For dogs that may be nervous or aggressive, please let us know at the time of booking. We ask that a properly fitted muzzle is placed prior to examination. We carry muzzles with us as well, but you are welcome to use your own if it is secure and appropriately fitted.
Appointment lengths typically range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the nature of the visit. On-site canine heartworm testing is completed in approximately 10 minutes, while routine wellness blood panels are sent to our external laboratory, with results typically returned within 1–2 business days.
Payment
We accept cash, credit, debit, zelle or personal checks. Please note full payment is due at the time of service.
